Founded in 1975 and proudly rooted in Social Circle since 2007, Southern Gentlemen Barbershop blends classic tradition with modern professionalism. When owner Angelo Alvear took over in 2020, his vision was simple — preserve the shop’s old-school charm while raising the standard for today’s barbering experience.

Men's Haircut
A haircut tailor made to your exact specifications. Finished with warm lather, a fresh blade, and cooling aftershave tonic on the back of the neck. After a hot towel your hair is then styled to perfection.

Beard Trim with Razor
Get those scraggly beard hairs back into shape with our sculpted beard trim. We will then follow it up with a sharp blade to give your beard those crisp lines. Haircut and beard trim combo, discount $5.

Buzz Cut
Even Steven. A single blade length all over with a line up around the perimeter. No fading/blending. Finished with warm lather, a fresh blade, and cooling aftershave tonic on the back of the neck.

Straight Razor Shave
Treat yourself to the manliest, most old school way of shaving: lather, blade, and barber. After a series of hot steam towels we shave your face BBS (baby butt smooth.)

O’Doud’s Tea Tree and Grapefruit scented shampoo and conditioner leaves the hair strong, rejuvinated, and vibrant, without over stripping the hair.

Don’t worry, we only wax from the neck upwards! Make those pesky ear hairs, nose hairs, and unibrow take longer to grow back by removing them from the root using our wax specially formulated for men’s facial hair.
